D-Day – 2 months

My trip to Alaska is on June 6th, 2 months from today and on the anniversary of the Normandy landings in 1944.

Now is the time for me to tighten down all the logistics and finalize plans, while leaving open time for free exploring and serendipity.

In the next 60 days I will be making sure all my equipment and gear is ready to go and finalize lists of what is better to buy in Alaska.

I will be driving more than 2,000 miles within Alaska and hundreds of that will be on unpaved and off the grid roads. What I bring in or buy there before hitting the road is what I will have.

Time to relax and do some reading while the clock ticks down on my next adventure.
